*pulls out her old cross on a chain and stares at it* its now blackened and smokey. She never did try to clean it. THe transmitting device was gone, replaced by a large dent from where the bullet had struck the metal so long ago. SHe looks up at the starlit sky, Nanashi, where are you?

She had went to space anything to try and find him again. Any trace of him. But none were to be found. She had to find him. Tell him she was sorry. Tell him that.. things were meant to be different. Tell him anythign she could think of to try to erase the fact that they were just children. Children used by a war.. But there was no trace of him. Until one day she was walking along a dark colony street. THe air was still, but far from quiet. YOu could hear the noises of children laughing in the distance, and she looked ahead to see it was coming from a circus tent. SHe smiled to herself. He used to love circuses so.. but he'd never admit it. interested, she began to walk towards it, to just catch a glimpse of the happiness they'd missed as children of war.

The ticketmaster was out of his box. The show was half over so she didn't have to pay. She snuck in a side flap where no one would notice her. SHe stood in the shadows next to the seating and watched. the Lion's act was just being finished. and she saw a tall lanky boy leading the lion away. Only to return a few moments later with a girl. He turned, and Middi held back a gasp. It was him. Nanashi. She heard the ringmaster call him Trowa Barton. But she knew the truth.

"Trowa?" she whispered to herself. Nanashi, why did you pick HIS name out of them all.. thinking of so many things that were yet to be put to light. "No matter.." GOodbye Nanashi, she thought to herself, as she turned to walk out. If her back wasn't turned she would have seen Nanashi turn his head and stare at her retreating form. He had a sense of de ja vu. He knew who it was. the blinked as the knife wizzed right by his cheek. and he blinked when he felt the trickle of blood. He shouldn't have moved.. but it was her. Catherine stood at her end. shocked. why had he moved? he'd never moved before.. what was going on? for a moment sh'ed seen something in his eyes.. not fear.. but she dind't know what it was. She was just glad he was alright.
Midii made her way out into the night air and disappeared into the night. Good bye for now Nanashi, until we meet again.
