This is just something I wrote one (very) depressing night. I'm not sure if it's good, but here it is anyways. I do believe this is a one-sided Naruhina and a perhaps hinted at one-sided Sasuhina. It's not that long. I'm also not sure if it makes sense, after all it was written at 11:15, and I can't really focus after 10. No thoughts in this one, just a stressed word or two.
Disclaimer: If I owned Naruto, I think we all know who would be with whom. (I don't, just so we're all clear)
The wind blew harshly; a storm was approaching.
"I-I love you," A girl stuttered, reaching her hand out as if to pull someone back.
"H-Hinata," the boy stuttered back "Gomene." Her hand dropped.
Somewhere a glass vase shattered; only a single white rose lay amongst the destruction. Its life-giving water slowly pooled around it; expanding and becoming thinner; unobtainable now to the blossom, and the rose was left to slowly wither and die.
"Of course," a whisper of a phrase followed by a spiteful laugh "Of course. What a fool I am." She laughed again. Each word; each laugh filled with more pain and maliciousness than the last. Her voice got continuously stronger with each word "The sun and the moon could never be together. They could never co-exist for one will always over power the other." She laughed. "The sun always its flower, ne Naruto-kun, without the sun, the flower would die. The sun will always have its flower. But the moon," her voice broke "the moon has no one. Forever surrounded; never understood." She turned and walked away, a broken maiden with a broken heart, slowly disappearing from the conscious world.
"Iie Hinata," Naruto whispered "that's where you're wrong, the moon forever has the night, and night forever worships the moon."
And…Done!
Characters are OOC (especially Naruto) but I mean, if a person whom you thought was dark and weird confessed their love to you wouldn't you be shocked an a little speechless? And if the one person you loved with every fiber of your being denied your love for them, wouldn't you be a little malicious and more out spoken?
