A SCIENTIST'S LIFE

As I walk through the city where I had utterly destroyed
I take a look at my creations and realized they are very plain
But that's just perfect for a scientist like me
You know I shun fancy things like electricty
At 4:30 in the morning I'm working on the G virus,
Anette feeds the Hunters and Wesker helps...fool!
And I've been obervin' and experimentin' so long that
Even Sherry thinks that my mind is gone.
I'm a man of science and I'm into viruses
Got a syringe in my hand and test subjects in my lab.
But if I finish all my work and you finish thine
Then tonight we're gonna free them all and everything will be fine.


We've been spending most our lives observin' microorganisms
I've been successful once or twice workin' by myself all day and night
It's hard work and sacrifice carrying out all these experiments
We see things that nobody had, and they're all quite a sight.

A local boy was rude to me last week
I just smiled at him and dragged him to my lab,
I really don't care, in fact I drugged him well
'Cause you'll never know when you need a spare subject.
But I ain't never injected an idiot even if he deserved it,
A Scientist with a 'tude, you know that's unheard of.
I never wear jeans but I got a cool coat
And my family agrees I really look good in white...fool!
If you come visit you'll be bored to tears
We haven't even paid the phone bill in 300 years.
But we ain't really quaint so please don't point and stare,
We're just mentally impaired.

There's no phone no lights no motorcars not a single luxury
Like Sherry's homework, we're as boring as can be.
