Seasons:
Katara noticed many thins about Zuko during the war, and even after. Since they were together after the war, and soon she knew a lot that she didn't realize before.
She knew his favorite food was noddles, and his favorite tea was earl grey, with a touch of cinnamon. She also noticed a lot of things about his mood in general, it went with the seasons. In the winter, he would get frustrated very easy, but calmer when it as scorching hot in a room. She knew all he needed was heat, and some tea. Since Zuko was a firebender, Katara figured it was the cold, and snow that hit the earth for those few months.
Spring came, and Zuko's mood got better. He was still angered, but not so often. When the flowers sprung up and the turtle ducks came back to their pond, he relaxed more. Summer would come, and Zuko would be at ease in the summer heat, calm, relaxed. He was more himself during the summer months then the others. Those months he would sit outside and read. Sometimes he would even have meetings with the firebender officials outside in the garden where he had people set up a table.
In the fall his relaxed mood lasted, but when the crisp air came again It was spoiled. That was what Katara noticed about her husband Zuko when the seasons did their run.
Zuko knew many things about his girlfriend, companion, and soon to be fiance, if she said yes of course. He knew that she loved ice cream, and hated beef. He knew that she preferred sweetened tea, with a lot of sugar. Zuko chuckled at the thought of her reading with a cup of tea, once she got into a book of hers there was no stopping her from finishing it that day.
Over the years Zuko noticed patterns of how Katara reacted certain times a year, he realized that she got affected by the season's. In the summer, Katara and him got into useless arguments often.. she hated the heat, and often visited the south pole during that time. Even though he hated the cold he still visited with her. The fall wasn't so bad, she begun t relax as the cold weather settled in.
The winter was he season she was the mot joyful in. She was comfortable and not snappy, unless he deserved it. The sprin was a neutral season, she was as relaxed like fall. They were both different, but still connected. Zuko loved Katara, and her flaws. Even though they enjoyed different seasons, didn't stop them from enjoying one another.
