Happy New Year.
Sadie Nesson turned on her mp3 watching the fireworks. Red, green, yellow, violet, and blue exploding in the sky celebrating the new year. She liked watching them, listening her music prepared for the occasion, music extolling her senses and making her fly away.
Headphones suddenly disappeared. Before she had time to feel surprise, her lips were on Joy's. Sadie smiled during the kiss, as she returned it.
When Joy finally broke the kiss, she leaned her head on her shoulder. It was not easy, because she was taller. But Sadie was not complaining, although her short hair tickled her nose.
-I see you were smart and got out before Ang complained of noise, Sadness.
-You know I don't like that nickname -she said quietly. -Later I'll be back inside. I just wanted to watch the fireworks from the stairs. You have nothing to worry about.
-I know -the girl said with a smile playing on her lips. That was normal. -I'm not worried. Don't you mind if I stay here with you, right? Or do you already have plenty of company with My Chemical Romance?
- "The Black Parade" can wait.
Joy saw her girlfriend did something she rarely did: smile showing teeth, with a huge and sincere hapiness.
The year could not have started better.
