Many years after his only remaining friend had left him, the Doctor was left to travel in a body which had become old due to regeneration,He had lost everything in the time war and due to his injuries he had to walk on a cane (Which he dubbed 'the Sonic Cane') the Doctor decided to go to his place of solitude in times of darkness, Earth, he always saw that planet as more than just a small dot in a universe of planets.

"Ah, london 2013" He said to himself "A lovely place to come once you feel down"

The Doctor walked down an alleyway, but unfortunatly he saw a poor girl getting mugged, still as heroic as ever, he decided to get involved.

"Always a flaw with every place, and that would be you" The Doctor proclaimed to the muggers "You know the people of London look down on your actions"

The muggers hastily repiled "Well how could you stop us? you are just a old man!"

"Not just a old man" He begins to raise his sonic Cane in the air " A old man with FIREWORKS!"

The muggers were mocking the Doctor, but then to their suprise, the Doctors Cane Began to Shoot out fireworks into the air, The Muggers were confused but soon noticed that every firework shooting out of the cane was slowly getting closer to them. The muggers ran in fear, dropping all the womans stolen goods in their haste, She picked them up with haste.

"Thank you sir, how can i repay you?" She Said, but the Doctor Replied "It is rude not to introduce yourself, what is your name?" She Looked confused but then replied to his question.

"Cheryl,Cheryl Adam"

"Well, Cheryl. it was all in a days work, i must be off" The Doctor said as he headed off to the tardis.

Cheryl hurried after him, Then said "Are you the Doctor?"

The Doctor stopped dead in his tracks, confused about how this woman knew his name, he swore he never met here before.

"Indeed, how would you know?" Said the Doctor, To which Cheryl Replied "Because my mother spoke of a man like you, who took her for adventures in his Police box"

"Are you Referring to Katie Adams? if so, tell her i said hi,"The Doctor said as he resumed to walk to the tardis."Do you wish to come with me? i have been very lonely recently" Cheryl brought herself to say " But i have to get to work, i am 25 minuites late" To which the doctor replied "Come with me then you will be 20 minuites early"
