I am Kagome a time traveling miko, guardian of the shikon jewel

I wonder if you love me for who I am and not of your past love

I hear the promises you make to your first lover as you hold her tight

I see the loving way you look at her while you hold her in your arms

I am Kagome a time traveling miko, guardian of the shikon jewel

I feel the sadness in my heart when you go to see her when she comes

I touch the fresh tears that come every time you compare me to her

I worry you will chose her and never come back

I cry each time you leave me to go with her

I understand it is hard for you to choose between us

I say I don't mind you going to her even if that is a lie

I dream of you each night watching over me

I try to hide what I truly feel when you leave

I hope for you to see and love me for who I am
