I was walking home from school Friday afternoon. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around to see no other than Fang. I glared at him and began to

turn around, but before I could, Fang punched me in the nose.

"What the hell, Fang?" I yell and he laughs.

"Thought I'd straighten out the emo chick," he says.

"Like I'm anymore emo than you, Fang," I say to him and he punches me again.

"Don't you dare call me that, Max," he threatens.

"Make me."

"That's it!" Fang yelled at me and he dragged me into the woods twenty yards away. I kick and scream but no one hears because there are no houses

nearby at all. Fang takes off his backpack and pulls out some rope. My eyes grew wide as he pinned me to a tree and began to tie me up.

"Fang!" I yell. "This isn't something you want to do! Please don't!" He ignored me and tied the last knot.

"That should keep you there, emo." Fang walks away and I keep screaming.

"Fang, please let me go! I'm sorry!" I yell, but he keeps walking away. I begin to cry. I will die of thirst if I don't get untied soon. I cry myself to sleep.

I woke up still tied to the tree. No one will hear me ever. I scream as loud as I can, but no one comes. I screamed as often as I could. As day turned to night

again, I began to lose hope of surviving. I cried myself to sleep again.

I wake up once again with the sun beating down on me. I was still tied to the tree. I was getting hungry and thirsty. I'm never getting out of here. I had no

energy left to scream. No energy left to cry. I fell asleep again.

The morning came again, but I had no energy. Scream. I had to scream and I had to escape. I used all of my energy on screaming and then I realized I had

no energy to live. I heard a faint noise. "It's going to be okay," he says. "What is your name?"

"M-max," I whisper with the rest of my strength and pass out.
