Water droplets hit your silver hair. But you remained at your place, ignoring the rain. Your orange eyes stared at the ground, unmoving, unblinking. No, not at the ground. But the bright color that stained it.
Red.
You looked around. You spotted a familliar sword near you. You wondered, where was its owner? Immediately, you noticed something near it. No, not it.
It was your leader; Elsword. He was lying down on the ground, the same vibrant red pooling below him. On his chest were multiple swords, sticking out. His skin was pale.
You knew what had happened. Yet...you couldn't accept the fact. So, you looked around again, ignoring the lifeless eyes staring at your back.
You spotted a staff this time. It belongs to a certain Elemental Master. But, where was she...? You noticed a dismembered hand. You did a quick scan, before holding down a sob. You didn't want to think about it, so you averted your eyes.
The more you looked around, the more you realised...that all of your comrades...had fallen. They left you, in this cruel world alone.
Elsword, Aisha, Rena, Raven, Elesis, Chung, Ara, Lu, Ciel, Add...
All of them were dead.
Dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. DEad. DEAd. DEAD. dEAD!!!
You felt something come out from your eyes. You tried to wipe it of. But no matter how hard you tried, more and more tears came out, streaming down on your cheeks then fell to the ground below.
You were confused. Why? Why would you shed tears? A Nasod never show emotions, let alone cry. But why...?
Suddenly, you realised. Through all these journeys you made together with your friends...slowly but surely, you gained human emotions. Sad. Angry. Happy...you finally know what it means...to be alive.
The rain continued to pour. You sat in the middle of it, surrounded by the corpses and blood of your friends. As tears continued to fell from your eyes...
"I'm sorry...I couldn't protect you all..."
The rain had never been that cold before...
