Chapter 1 - Grendel
In the land of the Danes, where people were merry and celebrated every night, lies a monster hidden in bog down a dark hill. The monster growls with anger and hatred. It despises the people who are happy and loved. It's name is Grendel. His rage was bulit up in such a high level that, he would erupt in any moment. That moment was later that night, Some people were celebrating and lied down drunk or walikng home. Grendel crawled quietly to the party scene, then without warning attacked. Men were slaughtered, mamied or eaten by the monster Grendel. The people couldn't see the monster because it was moving very fast.
The next day, the people had nothing to be happy or to celebrate for. Just saddness and mourning for the people who died on that cruel night. Even Hrothgar, King of the Danes, is mouring the loss of his people. Grendel can hear the sadness from the Danes, and it pleased him.
News of the mauling had spread upon the lands and into the ears of warriors who wish to face Grendel. One of them was the Warrior named Beowulf.
