Prologue
After waiting for never ending years, her chance had at last arrived, much to her contempt. Despair had started to suffocate her in the endless nights; emptiness had risen from the darkness of her heart to consume her, slowly and painfully. But now she could breathe again. She could look ate the bright sun rising above her head as the birds sang through the air waking up the surroundings. The escape had been a success, and freedom smiled brightly offering a new life and a chance to redeem her mistakes.
Unfortunately, time was against her. Breathing deeply while closing her eyes, she aloud the fresh air to fill her lungs before going over the situation. Nobody would notice her absence for about forty minutes, so she had this period of time to get as far as possible from that hideous place.
Looking back to glance one last time at the prison that had suppressed her for the last twelve years, a drop of sadness filled her heart when she remembered all of her companions that had died trying to escape in vain: no one had ever achieved it until now. Leaving those thoughts behind she flexed her legs preparing herself for what was yet to come. Stretching her arms and relaxing her neck she looked forward, and a fragment of second later all you could see was a trail of dust revealing the way she had gone.
No one would have guessed someone could literally run away from jail. The defense system, security equipment, enormous amount of guards... actually, the building itself was constructed to be flawless. Or at least theoretically. How could a single woman escape from there? How could the intelligence of hundreds of the most recognized scientists and architects be overpowered by a single lady? Well, that was her specialty. She never missed the chance to amuse and stun everyone around her.
So... here goes the prologue of a story that might be quite interesting... I know it is not explained, but be patient with me, and you will see how the story will develop. I hope you liked the introduction, for there will be more.. muahahaha xD. Please read and review!!
