He ran aimlessly through the forest with nothing but a wooden shield and a sword that would be his only means of direction. He pointed the weapon directly ahead of him, it's sharp tip facing the unknown. He awaited the feeling of vibration that would surely lead him to what he was looking for.

Or more like who.

It had happened so fast in a storm that had formed in the blink of an eye. Consuming the most beautiful thing, taking the one person who actually meant something to him.

He vowed to find her and bring her back, not just for her sake, or her father's sake, but for his too.

Now he's taken on a quest; a task that no man has ever acquired before. Plunging down below, to the surface of the uninhabited to find her.

Because he knew he would.

His only companion and form of guidance was his sword, with a spirit inside of it that could only be described as pure elegance.

Together, they would face anything, whether it be fire, or deserts, or seas, as long as he found her.

He could only guess what she meant when she said there was something she wanted to talk to him about. Those very words still ring in his head as he searches for her. Her flowing blonde hair, whisking away in the unruly winds, but yet she still managed to look flawless. Her azure eyes that matched the clear skies around them sparkled with each word she spoke. In comparison to the finest milk you can buy, her pale skin looked even more delicious. Even her form, perfectly petite, would mold perfectly with his in the most simplest hug. Not that he had ever achieved such an action.

Because all along he's wasted time in fear that even the slightest touch out of line would make everything crumble down. Never bothering to change their relationship, their friendship. Never turning it into something more. And whoever believes that he would let things go down the way they are without letting her know of his feelings for her are severely wrong.

He loved her.

And he would do absolutely anything, even if that meant he had to follow a silly sword, just to get to her again. He would find her, and save her, and tell her just how much she means to him.
