-The Juno Monologues

Sekhmet
There it was. A barricade drone was waiting around the corner, getting ready to ambush me. "Not today," I thought, as I fired up the Jetpack and rocketed to the platform above. It was confused. It expected me to walk by it at any moment, but I wasn't there. I hurled a remote mine to the left side of the corridor it was walking. It didn't notice it, which was a good thing. Knowing its full-bodied shield would shield it from the blast, I waited until he was half past it and detonated it. The drone hurled forward, not dead yet. It looked around, but still didn't notice me. I equipped the flame-thrower and shot it at him. It hit it from behind, and I turned away while the drone ran around looking crazy, trying to extinguish the flames on its body. Another one bites the dust.
Tawfret
I just made it into the castle, but the barricade drones were swarming me from all around. (note: in this part, Juno does not have his new armor or jetpack yet) "Let's hope these Shurikens I just got work as well as they say..." I thought. I had locked on to a Barricade drone. I hurled the Shuriken and, like magic sliced right through the drone's massive shield and breached its neck, making its head go flying. Then shock of all shocks, the shuriken returned to me. (note: Those of you who don't have the game, it's not a gruesome as it sounds) "Nice." I thought.
Mizar's Palace
Lupus came in, and Vela and I emerged from stasis. A giant door opened and we ran through. Another door opened and a giant bug walked out. Mizar. I couldn't let my own sister fight him, let alone my dog. I had no choice. I stepped forward. I took out my Machine gun, but Mizar fired a blast at me. Still shocked from it, I slowly got up and ran up. The battle had begun.
Gemini star Cruiser
We just received a distress call from Goldwood. Some ant-like soldiers were capturing and murdering the friendly bear race, the Tribals. I was still contemplating what should be done, when I heard a bang. We all ran to see what happened. We were being boarded. "Go!" I told Vela. She took Lupus and ran to the teleport room. They were safe, departed in their own starships. I secured the controls and ran for the pod. Halfway down the corridor, an explosion flipped me over and I tumbled to the ground. The ants had boarded. I quickly drew my gun, still on the floor, and blasted them. The first raiding party was dead, flies circling their twitching bodies. More on their way. I ran as fast as I could, but more stepped in front of me. I relied on my best source. 100 lead bullets. I pumped them full of lead, and finally made it to monitor room. I was on the treadmill, with computers monitoring my health status. I hit the button and teleported to my ship and flew off to Goldwood, where the distress signal came from.
SS Anubis
This massive ship has wielded many drones, but nothing has been this bad. I found many Tribals imprisoned behind force fields in cellblock 24, and my own sister, Vela. I met up with her, but she felt the best choice would be to split up. She said she would start at the battleship Sekhmet, a giant troop carrier.
The end of part one. Will there be another? Maybe.
