I'm doing a creative writing Internet correspondence course and my first assignment was to rewrite a Fairy Tale, so I did Little Red Riding Hood. In this course I write the story, e-mail it to my tutor, and she sends me feedback, and I thought 'if I get feedback from her, I might as well get feedback from So here is my story! I actually don't like it myself; it's too bare (I had a maximum word count, evil). I might post a better one some other time, or replace this one or something, but for now I haven't been doing a lot of writing and I wanted to post something. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own these characters, I think The Brothers Grimm do, but I'm not sure! Whoever it was must be proud though, because a lot of people know the story!

Little Red Riding Hood

There once was a wolf called Wolf who lived in a wood by himself. The person living nearest to him was a girl and her mother, but Wolf was much too shy to ever talk to them.

One day Wolf spotted the girl skipping through the woods with a pretty red cape on. Wolf felt confident so he walked up to the girl.

"Hello," he said, "Where are you going?"

"To my grandmothers house." replied the girl.

"Why not go that way?" suggested Wolf, pointing towards a flowered path. He knew the girl was hesitating so he said, "It's a shortcut."

It wasn't a shortcut, but he wanted the girl to see the flowers along the path.

At this point Wolf had an idea. He knew the girl liked playing games and he thought of a game. He ran along until he reached the girl's grandmother's house.

When he went inside the grandmother was in the bathroom, he ran over and locked the door.

"Granddaughter, is that you?" she called.

"Yes," replied Wolf, trying to sound like the girl, "I want to play Silence in the Classroom, you must be very quiet."

Soon the grandmother fell asleep.

Wolf jumped into bed just as the girl walked into the house.

"Hello grandmother, what big eyes you have!"

"All the better to see you with!" replied Wolf.

"What big ears you have!"

"All the better to hear you with!"

"What big teeth you have!"

By now Wolf was enjoying the game very much, and he replied, "All the better to EAT you with!"

Suddenly a hunter charged in with a gun and demanded Wolf to get out. Wolf was very scared so he ran away. Poor, misunderstood Wolf!

Deireadh!

So that's that! Review please, I already got feedback from my tutor, she liked it overall, but she told me to replace a few sentences with …(and she'd give an example), but the problem was, I did have sentences like that in it, but I had to edit them so it would be the correct length! (I was over the limit as it is!)
