A/N This is a short music fic showing Jonny and Jessie having a huge argument and appearing to break up before subsquently making up at the end, a little something that popped into my head earlier. The song is Not Running Anymore by Bon Jovi, so let me know what you think positive or anything that could be improved. I will be putting a lot more Jonny Quest stories out in future but for now here is a small taster, I am very much J/J HR just because I believe they are both meant to be, so if you are not into that then this won't be for you.

Bless me father I have sinned

(Jonny sat bhy the sea in the Quest Compound grounds after a huge argument with Jessie)

I'm not sure where to begin

(Jessie sat in her room crying)

I won't name names or where I've been.

But I've been there and back again

(Image showing Race and Dr Quest stunned by the explosive argument)

No Hail Marys will save me

(image returns to Jonny sat outside with his head bowed)

You learned to live with memories

(Flashbacks of Jonny and Jessie racing on hoverboards around the compound during the episode of Digital Doublecross and then them both hugging during the episode of Ice Will Burn)

Here, slip this C-note up your sleeve.

Just stay inside until I leave

(Flashback to Jonny storming out after the argument with Dr Quest pleading his son not to run off)

(Jonny running away from the house)

I've been running, always running. Now I'm not running any more

(Jonny finally stops overlooking the ocean)

The hands of time may tick no more

Let darkness fall upon this door

(Jonny staring at the sea closing his eyes deep in thought)

No waves will wash up on this shore

I won the fight but lost the war

(Jonny standing and thinks that he has lost Jessie for good)

I've been running, always running

Never had both feet on the floor

(Image switches back to Jessie still crying on her bed phoning her Mom Estella)

Now I ain't running anymore

(Estella comforting and talking to Jessie)

There were roses I have loved

(Jonny looks at this cell phone with a picture of him and Jessie on the screen)

Who've given or have given up

(Jonny throwing stones into the ocean in frustration)

I pushed your patience and my luck

(Jessie asks her Father to leave the room and longs for Jonny)

It wasn't love I didn't trust

(Jonny speaking to Hadji on the phone pouring his heart out)

It wasn't you, or me, or us

You've shouldered ifs, and ends, and buts

(Hadji pleading Jonny to talk to Jessie)

It's that way okay, I've said too much

(Jonny walks back to the house)

But I've been running, always running

Never had both feet on the floor

(Jessie spots Jonny coming back and leave her room into the hallway)

(Jonny enters the hallway and see's Jessie and they both apologise and hug each other tight)

Now I ain't running anymore

(Image shows Dr Quest and Race rolling their eyes as Jonny enters Jessie's Room and they share a passionate kiss)
