Chapter 1 - If He Doesn't Come Back

The three young Princes sat in the field of flowers silently while watching the sun go down.
"Do you think we'll ever see daddy again?" said the youngest one innocently.
"I dont know Yaten-sama..." the oldest one replied silently.
The oldest one was about eleven years old, Prince Taiki. The middle one was about ten and a half years old, Prince Seiya. And the youngest one was eight years old, Prince Yaten. They lived in a beautiful Kingdom in wich their kind mother, Queen Kakyuu, ruled. Their father had just left to go fight and leed their warriors in war.
Seiya looekd over at their younger brother who looked really sad and in his own world, then he
looked back at Taiki and the two of them both grew a big grin on their faces.
Seiya and Taiki both jumped up and started tickling Yaten. Yaten wiggled, giggled and laughed
till' he was red. Taiki tripped over Yaten and Seiya tripped over Taiki, causing them all to
roll down the grassy hill laughing and giggling in the moonlight.
They all played and giggled for hours untill they were all out of energy. They layed down for a
few minutes and then Seiya yelled "Last one home is a rotten egg!" which caused Taiki and Yaten
to get up and run after Seiya who was already racing back to the Royal Palace.
The gaurds opened the fancy gates as Taiki and Seiya ran fastly by and soon followed by Yaten
who was far behind. Their mother stood in the tall doorway and smiled as her two oldest sons ran
up to her laughing and catching her breath. They both gave her a warm hug in which she returned
softly.
Yaten came up running and stopped about fifteen feet in front of them, catching his
breath. Queen Kakyuu smiled softly at her youngest son. Taiki and Seiya ran up to him and hugged
him, ruffling his hair. Once Yaten was out of their tight grip he ran up to his mother who knelt
down to his height.
"Mommy!" Yaten giggled and hugged her tight.
Queen Kakyuu smiled and stood up holding Yaten. "Come on you two. It's almost time for supper.
Tonight we are having supper in bed." she smiled as her other two sons got on either side of her.
They walked up the fancy, long, white stairs and into their mother's big bedroom. Kakyuu set
Yaten down as the three boys climbed on her big bed. Seiya grabbed the remote and started
flipping through the channels.
"I wunna watch Rugwats!" squealed Yaten.
Kakyuu was sitting in front of her large dresser witht the large mirror. She took down her long, red hair and started brushing it.
"We are not watching Rugrats Yaten!" Seiya snapped.
"But I wunna!" whined Yaten.
"Boys boys...stop fighting or I will have to pick what you will watch," Kakyuu smiled "How about
we go to the movie store in the Kingdom and you all can pick one movie each."
"Yay!" Yaten hopped up and down.
"Awesome!" Seiya smirked.
Taiki pulled Yaten into his lap and looked out the window while Seiya and Yaten were
concentrating on what to watch.
