Author's Note: Just a little poem that I wrote Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Once Again
I open my eyes to bright blue skies
And on seeing my friends I smile
They beckon me come and have some fun
And be together for a while
We take out our swords that glisten like hoards
That is guarded by tooth and claw
I challenge another or even my brother
While the others will stand by in awe
We wander the land and lend a hand
And stand up for what is right
And when comes a foe we will often know
It is victoriously we fight
Done with a quest and taking a rest
We smile and laugh through the day
We rest to our fill, then no longer still
It is once again on our way
Villains we slew and dragon we flew
To where ever it was they had need
Robbers were stopped the chains unlocked
The persecuted were freed
They shouted each name and spread our fame
Eyes closed I felt my heart soar
Peace they did find and joy in my mind
Then with reopened eyes no more
Then I looked all around and heard not a sound
And I know that I'm all alone then
From my mouth escape sighs as I reclose my eyes
And think when I'll dream once again
