This fic is based of the quote: I used to have a gift but the psychiatrist took away my powers.

"So let me get this straight, Rachel, you met this guy at a bar, when you were drunk, and then you got married?"

"Yes, Jake, we got married after we met at the bar."

"And how did you think that, that was a good idea?"

"Well, we just kind of clicked, you know?"

"No, I don't know."

A sigh was heard on the other end of the line. "Any way, you can make your own judgment on him when we get there tomorrow."

"Wait your coming tomorrow?"

"Yep, and you can ask him all of your overly protective brother questions when we get there! Talk to you later, Jake!"

"Wait! Rachel!" the other line clicked off. "Well, whatever."

*Next day*

"So Leslie," Rebecca tried to stifle her laughter at the sound of her new brother-in-law's name. "What do you do for a living?" asked Billy.

"I'm a psychiatrist." Replied Rachel's husband.

"Ah, I see."

"Where are you guys going to live?"

"Well, Jacob, I was thinking that Rachel and I could settle down here, in La Push, and I could set up a practice in Forks, so that Rachel can be close to her family."

Jacob's and Rebecca's heads popped up and they looked at each other with wide eyes.

"Hey Rachel, could you help me wash the dishes?" asked Jacob, trying to tell her with his eyes that he wanted to talk with her.

Catching the meaning she replied, "Sure, Jake, lead the way."

Once in the Kitchen, "If you guys are going to be living in La Push, you're going to have to tell him what we are."

"Jake, He doesn't need to know."

"Yes, he does! He has a right to know what he's going to be living with."

"Half of La Push doesn't know what the Pack is why should he be an exception?"

"Because he'll be related to one!"

"Everyone is related to everyone else here, Jacob."

"But they're not immediate family, he is."

"Okay, Jake, if he has to know what you are, you tell him. I'm not going to live with someone who thinks I'm a nut case for the rest of my life."

"Fine, I'll tell him." He walked out forgetting all about the dishes that they said they'd do.

"Hey Leslie, would you come with me for a minute?"

"Sure, where we going?"

"Up to my room."

Once up in Jakes room, Leslie sitting on the computer chair and Jacob on the bed (A/N: Yeah, you can see where I'm going with this) Jacob began to speak.

"Ya know, Leslie, how everyone I unique? Well, some are more unique then others."

"What are you getting at, brother?"

Jacob made a face at the word brother. "Well, you see… you see, my buddies and me… are… are what you call were-wolves… and well, I just wanted to let you know what we where before you really decided to live here, see?"

When Jacob looked up from his hands to see Leslie's face, Jacob could practically see the geris in his head clicking as they spun around.

"I see," Was the thoughtful reply. "How does that make you feel?"

"Uh… well," Jake scratched the back of his neck. "Good, actually, cause my Pack Brothers and I get to protect humanity for the Vampires."

"Vampires? Are there any vampires around here?"

"Yeah, they're known as the Cullen's."

"You mean the family that lives on that hill up there?"

"Yeah, those are the ones."

"Jacob, you and I are going to have a long discussion."
