Hi, everyone! I'm back! I know I wasn't gone long, but, whatever. I'm back now. I wrote this fic kind of fast, so don't get mad if there are any mistakes.

I don't own Harvest Moon, or anything else relating to it.

Also, don't take offence, dear authors!

It was a normal day in Flower Bud Village. The sun was shining, although it was still a bit cool.

The coolest place in town happened to be by the beach. Unluckily, this was also where Jill lived.

Jill looked out the window, wondering why on earth she had chosen this place. It was cold, damp, and a long way from the main village. The worst part was that, for no reason at all, Mayor Theodore wouldn't let her buy more land. This wasn't hurting her farm, but it was annoying. So, as some sort of revenge,
Jill had bought lots of electronics. She now owned a tv, a computer, a phone, a proper lighing system, and a burgular alarm.

She knew she was the weirdo of the village for this. Country people had no real use for electronics, being busy, and all.

But the label had not kept off one boy. Or man, she should say. Carl was now her beloved husband.

She had no idea what suddenly attracted him. She wouldn't ever think that it was her fancy high-tech baking oven. It sure did help with his cafe, though.

Currently, Carl was pouring over their computer. It was nice and all, but he spent all his time on it.

Carl hadn't been into his cafe for a week now. Katie was keeping it open, but her cooking was nowhere near as good as Carl's.

Katie had just been over that day, shouting her head off. Saying something like, "Get that husband of yours over here now!"

Jill had agreed. She was just going to talk to him now.

She slipped into their bedroom, for that was where the computer was, thinking of a plan.

"Honey?"

"Go away. I'm busy," came her answer.

Carl was at the computer.(big surprise) He was nearly blocking the screen.

She hesitantly put her arms on his shoulders.

"Don't you think you should get back to your cafe soon? Katie was here complaining."

"Can't."

Jill put her hands on her hips.

"Why not?"

Not waiting for an answer, she pushed her face in front of the screen. It was blaring small black letter in a seemingly endless way.

"What's this?" She asked, tilting her head to one side.

She started reading.

After a few lines she pulled her head away quickly.

"Oh! Um, never mind, honey! I-I'll be leaving now!" she scurried from the room.

Carl stared after her.

The next day Katie came over again. She pounded on the door.

"Jill! Open up!"

Jill opened the door slowly.

Katie gasped at Jill's face.

"You look terrible! What happened?"

Jill walked to her kitchen chair and sat down.

"Oh Katie, it was horrible! I can't believe I saw that! I'll be haunted by it for the rest of my life!" She said, rubbing her temples.

Katie sat down beside her.

"Come on, you can tell me about it," She said.

Jill was taking deep breaths.

"I'll explain it the best I can. I was going to talk to Carl, and he was on the computer. I saw what he was reading, and... it... was... horrible! It was some story about Flower Bud! I was with Kurt, then Joe, and then Kurt... oh it was horrible! And then Eve! It was scary and weird, but strangly well written.
I can't forget about it!" She said quickly.

"I think you need to calm down. It couldn't have been that bad," Katie reasoned.

"Oh, but it was!" Jill wailed.

"Forget about that for one minute and tell me, what did Carl say?" Katie asked.

"He didn't say anything. But, I totally forgive him for staying home," Jill said.

Katie sighed.

"How about we go convince him to come back to work?" She asked

Jill nodded.

And so they went a talked to Carl, convincing him to come back. The cafe was fine, and Jill was now plotting against the Mayor for not letting her buy land.
Because apparently, buying electronics hadn't worked.
