Lab Rats
Danny Messer strolled into the New York Crime Lab. Saying he was the happiest man in the world somehow couldn't quite cover it. Didn't even care that he was about to pull a double shift cause his Montana would be workin' the same shift. He practically danced into the locker room. As he just reached the lockers he heard footsteps aproaching. Lindsay Monroe smile that day could light up the world.
"Well hello there Detective Messer and what are you so cheery about" she said, the smile never leaving her face.
" Well Detective Monroe there's this beautiful woman who I'm crazy about, who I just spent a fantastic evening with".
She just smiled,it's all she could do. "Well I'll see you in the lab cause we've got a DOA just in" and with that Danny gave her a quick kiss and left.
Lindsay Moroe walked the halls of the lab when something she heard from the trace lab alerted her her hearing.
"Anyway I've heard that our resident Lab player has been screwing the country girl" she heard on of the lab techs say.
Feeling her eyes filling up with tears she rushed down the hall nearly knocking Danny over in the process.
"Hey what's up" he questioned, concern all over his face. She told him what the lab techs had said.
"I mean how the hell do they even know we've been keeping it a secret. I just wish they could see how serious we are".
With that Danny took Lindsay in his arms and kissed her, with the whole lab watching, until they had to give into breathing.
"Not that I'm complaining but what was that for" she asked blushing at all the attention they were getting.
"Lindsay Monroe I am serious 'bout you and I love you with all of my heart and if that mean's the Lab techs are goin' to be tellin' everyone the lab player has fallen for the resident country girl I could care less because it save's me the trouble of shoutin' it to the world and ...Danny was cut of by Lindsay's lips.
"I love you too" she said after they finally broke apart. A round of applause broke out and shout came from the crowd telling them "it was about time" and "they thought the day would never come" but the couple didn't hear cause to them the world around them had dissapeared.
