A/N - Just a little one-shot I wrote. Originally using my girlfriend's and my real names, converted to our minecraft screen names. Just supposed to be adorable. :3

Roses

Axle and Moohickyalah wandered slowly down the gravel path towards the village. The Grounded team was meeting there as a group of friends that day, and the couple had been invited along to join them. Sighing happily, Axle slipped his hand into Moohicky's.

Moohicky glanced at him with a smile on her face. Alex blushed slightly, then kissed her gently on the cheek. Moohicky laughed quietly. "Oh Axle, ya silly," she said rolling her eyes.

"Yeah well," Axle replied grinning, "I'm your silly."

"No one else's," Moohicky added softly.

Axle looked at his girlfriend, her wild brown hair, her gorgeous blue eyes, that beautiful smile... The heart that was his. "Exactly."

Moohicky chuckled. Axle sighed again, and looked down the road a little. A particularly colourful shop caught his eye. He paused.

Moohicky looked over at him. "You okay sweet?" she inquired lightly.

Axle nodded in response, an idea forming in his head. "Yeah, I'm fine. You, uhh... Wait here. I'll be back shortly." Axle winked at Moohicky, then turned and walked down the street in a different direction. Moohicky raised her eyebrows in confusion, but waited all the same, wondering what her boyfriend was up to. She looked on as he stopped outside a pretty little shop she didn't know and went in.

Several minutes later, Axle walked out again holding his hands behind his back. Moohicky gave a little wave, and was greeted by a mere nod in return. Axle had a very cheesy grin across his face, and Moohicky could tell he had done something adorable. As he got closer, Moohicky called, "What was that about Axle?"

"Oh, nothing much," he answered. "Just, y'know, something for a special someone."

Moohicky put her hands on her hips and grinned back. "And who would that be?"

"You. Who else?" Axle responded, and he pulled a small bouquet of roses out from behind his back. Moohicky's eyes widened in joy.

"Oh Axle, you didn't have to!" she said, putting her hands up in innocence.

"Yeah I did," Axle replied, holding the flowers out to her. "Because I love you, and I want you to always know that."

Moohicky, blushing, took the bouquet and sniffed the roses deeply. She closed her eyes in happiness as the romantic scent wafted around her. She looked back at Axle, who was rocking back and forth on his heels, the way he did when he was slightly embarrassed. Moohicky rolled her eyes again, muttered "You silly," then leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. Axle kissed her back, then grinned sheepishly.

"I always will be," he replied softly.
