Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
Went and ate a Cherri Berry.
Have you ever seen a Shuppet?
You don't want to get caught.
It will grab you by your jacket.
And all will be for naught.
Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells, and- What the hell?
Oh, it's sudowoodo.
Shaun Platt was once a generous man,
He wished a wish too hard.
And Lo! Mew granted his demand.
His pokemon he heard.
His touch, once made, would grant this boon.
And news spread loud and fast.
From land, from sea, from sun, till moon.
The world had come to ask.
Poor Shaun, he was a generous man,
But fame did him no good.
Beset, besieged, a desperate plan,
He ran from where they stood.
He hid for days, they found his tracks,
They threw balls at his hat.
Alas, alack, one was Snorlax!
S. Platt died with a splat!
Ghost Rotom the spook
Hot Rotom the cook
Spark Rotom will blow
Grass Rotom will mow
Frost Rotom a fridge
Wash Rotom a … washing machine
Arceus likes the morning dew,
Arceus likes the morning dew.
But if the day is not yet due,
You better still be sleeping too!
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe,
Catch a pichu by the toe.
If he bites you, let him go,
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.
Mary had a small mareep,
It's fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
It zapped her on the nose.
It followed her to school one day,
Which was against some rule.
Poor Mary got expelled for that,
She thought it was quite cruel.
It zapped her on the nose again,
So she kicked it. Really hard.
Jack, be nimble, Jack, no fear,
Jack, jump over the Chandelure.
Rattata, Rattata, stop.
It's percentage is top.
Rodents, Joey,
Battle, at ease,
Rattata, Rattata, stop.
This little pidgey went to the market,
This little pidgey stayed home,
This little pidgey had roast beef,
This little pidgey had none,
And this little pidgey got caught.
How many miles to Pallet town?
Threescore and ten.
Can I get there 'fore Darkrai's out?
Yea, and back again.
If you go by wingbeat or port.
You may get there 'fore Darkrai's out.
Timburr, Gurdurr,
Conkeldurr
Koffing, Weezing,
Best stop sneezing.
What it says on the cover. Some are completely original and some are obviously adapted from well known ones. Something I found on my Google Drive that I decided to start doing several years ago. It's surprising hard to write something that sounds nursery rhymish. As for another actual work, I'm not sure if something's going to happen, but I've got two main ideas I've been tossing up between. If nothing happens in the next month then I think that's it from me.
Have a good one.
