Hi everyone! Just an author's note here. I know that, for a while, not too many people are even going to see this, and I understand that. This might not even attract anybody, and you may be reading this years from now. Or this may not even be read. Bloody no-one reads the crossovers. Seriously. But I will accept OC chars, and I will be working hard on this! No more despair!

Hotel Hylia - Part 1

It was a cool, but still warm summer day. The bugs were too lazy today, and all was quiet. Not even the people on the street made too much noise, everything was quiet. I loved this kind of day. I would enjoy going on walks during these kinds of days, even just sitting outside. But now, I was outside almost all the time, so I really didn't feel the joy.

I had just been evicted from another apartment, mostly because of inconsistent pay. Being a doctor still doesn't help, probably from the new glass eye I got. Makes people edgy. Concerned. A doctor without two eyes wouldn't be able to do much. They would be wrong. I did most everything from the flu to surgery. I even was a certified psychiatrist, like someone needed a psychiatrist these days, when the internet solved all problems. The all seeing eye. I laugh at my own thoughts.

I finally decided to leave the alley I was in, and to wander down the street some more. I was attracting multiple looks. Ones of pity, some of admiration, and some of infatuation. The ones of pity, could recognize the signs of homelessness. The ones of admiration were ones of those who heard of me, the glass-eye doctor, I haven't screwed up once. I was an internet fad for a couple of days, then I just faded back out. With society like it is, that happens. Everyone has a computer. Everyone uses the internet. Everyone posts everything about what goes on, there is no privacy. I hated it.

I finally headed around a corner, and almost ran into a girl, even around my age. Around twenty. Red hair, and, I must admit, not too hard on the eyes. She was muttering something about vacancies, and crappy landlords. I apologised, and kept on walking. Wait, landlords?

"Excuse me, miss?" I asked

The girl jumped, but came around to face me.

"Oh, yes?" she was startled, she hadn't expected to be flagged by a stranger.

"Excuse me for eavesdropping, but I heard something about landlords and vacancies. You wouldn't happen to work for an apartment complex?"

At first, I expected she would just shrug me off, I mean, would you stop for a question like that? But she caught my intentions immediately.

"You want an apartment, don't you?" She was excited "Sorry, we just can't spare it to just anybody. You need cash, and I don't think you have it."

My hopes were dashed. A bed and food for a couple days would of been nice.

"I shouldn't do this, but I will show you where it is, we need some more personal for the building, a new janitor, and etc… but, you can't get an apartment here just off that kind of salary"

I was okay with that, learning more about the neighborhood was good enough for me. I may even learn of another place to stay. But, I wonder why she was even taking me there. She would more actually want me gone. I may have clean-ish casual clothes on, but she can't actually take me for more than a homeless guy… It may of just been destiny, I suppose. We walked into an immaculate building, named the Hotel Hylia. Wait, if this was an apartment complex, why was it named "Hotel"?

She almost read my mind.

"This is called the Hotel Hylia because it serves as both a hotel and apartment, but more hotel. We have guest rooms and a kitchen, but we also have more permanent rooms starting a couple floors up for those who rent out apartment rooms."

I stood in awe, and realized this building must be huge. It even had two wings, and was massive. "Just the place for an accident" The doctor inside him thought.
