AN: Hope you're feeling much better already Muffy!! Enjoy your drabbles : P
Word Count: Um…I try, I really do...but it seldom works out.
Disclaimer: While the rights to an awesome TV show WOULD be an excellent Mother's day gift to my mom, I still don't own this one.

Good guys were supposed to stake the vampires. Not the other way around.
Dean could probably make a joke about the reverse situation and 'Soviet Russia', but Sammy never thought anything was funny when his eyebrows were that close together.
Those particular forehead wrinkles were reserved for emergencies, for wiping away his brother's blood, for holding him down gently with a grumbled 'Stay still damn it, I'm calling an ambulance."
"Sam, cough, I'm fi-" Sam glared as he shifted Dean off of his injured side, cutting him off.
"If I hear you say 'I'm fine' while you have an 8 inch oak stake stuck in your chest, so help me I will change all of the radio presets in the Impala to country." That earned him a smirk.
"Your threats are getting better." His brother ignored him, focused on stabilizing the piece of wood jutting out several inches below Dean's left shoulder. Dean let out a hiss as Sam used his outer shirt to wrap the sharpened stick, jostling the imbedded object slightly. He kept talking, trying to concentrate on anything besides the feeling of flesh grating against wood as he breathed. Ignored the trickle of blood he could feel roll down his back, tacky and pasting his shirt to his skin like coagulating Elmer's glue.
"Seriously, I don't think it hit anything important. You don't start hitting organs until about a hand length down from your shoulder."
Sam paused a moment. "One of your hands or mine?"
"Huh?" was all Dean grunted.
"Because your hands are smaller than mine." He demonstrated, enveloping Dean's hand in his own, finger tips easily overlapping his older brothers.
Well, that would explain why it was getting harder to breathe… Dean pulled in a tight gasp of air, vision beginning to gray at the edges. Crap.
"Then we might have a problem."
A/N: In Soviet Russia, review button pushes you! And no, I don't know if the hand thing is true...but it makes a good excuse for Sammy to hold his brother's hand when he's hurt...
