Enjoy!
They sat atop the rocks on the beach, listening to the water crash upon the shore. Nico had his head resting on well, listening to the gentle hum of his voice.
"'Cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be
Thinkin' maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet
And you'll see me waiting for you on our corner of the street
So I'm not moving, I'm not moving"
Nico wasn't a singer, but one of his favorite pastimes was listening to Will sing songs to him. Whenever he heard will sing, his anger and irritation melted away. He felt like a kid again. It was silly, but it's true.
As Will continued singing, Nico drifted off into a blissful sleep.
Nico on the rocks, cursing the bright sun as tears streamed down his face.
The beautiful day only served as a painful reminder of the sunshine in his life. He had lost Will; his whole world.
It wasn't fair! He should be here with him, singing him a gentle lullaby! But Will was in Elysium, waiting for him. Nico put his face in his hands and sobbed harder.
Suddenly, Nico felt a warm feeling passed through his body. He sat up shocked. He turned his head to see will sitting next to him.
"Will?" Nico whispered. He didn't dare hope. He wouldn't be able to handle it if Will wasn't really there.
The ghost boy nodded, and Nico's heart leaped with joy.
But the tears didn't stay away for long. Tears fell from his eyes as he let out a small, broken whisper.
"I miss you."
Tears gathered in Will's eyes. He shut them and started to sing a familiar song.
"'Cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be
Thinkin' maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet
And you'll see me waiting for you on our corner of the street
So I'm not moving, I'm not moving"
With one final smile, Will's ghostly form disappeared in the breeze.
Nico let out a fractured smile and whispered goodbye. He then laid down on the warm rocks, humming the very same melody.
What did you think? Let me know in the reviews. Should I make more like this?
