She had been summoned to Will's office. She had been in the middle of rereading a brief in preparation for court this afternoon so she brought the brief with her and was walking and reading at the same time.

She was a single parent again, with no help from Jackie and little help from Owen, so every moment of her time was valuable. Walking and reading was not necessarily a strength of hers. She usually walked into people and this particular "walk and read" would have been no different if her colleagues at Lockhart/Gardner had not gotten used to it in the last few weeks and knew to get out of her way.

Upon arriving in Will's office, she didn't see him, and assuming he had stepped away from his desk for a minute, she sat on his couch and continued rereading her brief while awaiting his return. She did think it was odd that Will would summon her and then disappear but maybe nature was calling.

After a few pages had been reread, she heard a grunted "fuck."

"Will?" she asked, standing up from the couch and looking around the office.

"Yeah," he answered, rather sheepishly as he hadn't realized anyone else was in his office.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, just trying to fix this broken desk chair."

She walked around his desk and noticed him for the first time since entering his office. She's not quite sure how she missed him when she entered the room, maybe because she had walked in reading, but either way, this is a sight she never wants to forget.

Will is on his hands and knees, suit jacket discarded nearby, shirt sleeves rolled up, his tight ass facing her direction. She can't help but smile at this picture because she's pretty sure if he had found her in this exact position, he would have made some joke that the HR department wouldn't approve.

"Is this a dignified look for a named partner?" Alicia chuckles.

Will just turns his head and gives her his version of the evil eye, then turns back to the broken chair.

"What happened to your chair?"

"I don't know, this piece of shit just decided to break."

"Were you sitting on it when it broke?"

"Yeah," he replies, still trying in vain to fix his chair.

"I think the chair is trying to tell you that you've put on a few pounds."

"I have not."

"I think so, you're looking a little chunky, might be time to start hitting the gym regularly again."

"That's rich, weren't you just checking out my ass?" he counters, and he's right. She always liked his ass, especially in his old baseball uniform, but these days it's often hidden by suit jackets.

"It was at my eye level."

"Your eye level is not two feet off the ground," he huffs, trying to force the broken pieces of the chair back together again.

"You're right, I just couldn't help myself, you have a nice ass Gardner."

"I have a great ass Florrick and don't you forget that," he says, while standing up and brushing invisible dust off himself.

And she won't be forgetting that anytime soon, plus, she really wants to see it sans pants soon.

"You've had a hard day," she mocks, "let me take you to dinner tonight."

"Weren't you just saying that I was fat and needed to exercise? Now you want to feed me so I get fatter?"

"Don't worry, we'll exercise together, after dinner. Be ready to leave at 7:30pm".

She walks out of his office with a grin and he's so distracted by thoughts of "exercising" with Alicia later tonight that he completely forgets that he had a legitimate work reason for calling her into his office and sits back on his chair and falls.

"Laurie," he yells, "can you please get maintenance here right away?"

"Right away," his assistance responses from her desk, "right away."
