Bonnie Bennett knew that the time that she had on this earth was short, she could never stop being the anchor, and she hated lying to Jeremy and her friends that she is closet to. When the other side goes down she knew she could go down this it. There was no other way, she knew her fate. She has been trying to keep it a secret from everybody and mostly from Jeremy. Bonnie didn't want anything to spoil and change their last days they had together. They were both happy together and in love. She needed to tell Jeremy before it was too late it; he deserves to know the truth.
"I lied. There was never any way for me to stop being the anchor. When the other side goes, I go with it." She spoke to Jeremy, on the phone. As she stopped pacing and decided to sit down on the stone bench.
"You told me you could come back." Jeremy replied to her, she hated lying to him but she
Knew that he needed to know the truth before it was too late.
"If I told you the truth, it would have changed our last days together and I didn't want it to change. We were happy." She said to him as tears were streaming down her face, she
"So none of it was true?" She couldn't speak nor say anything she was too upset to.
"Bonnie. Don't move! Okay, I-Im coming to you."
"I died Jer, the day before graduation. And the rest of this has been a gift. I choose to be thankful that I didn't waste a second of it. So, take care of Elena." She told him, her voice breaking as she was finishing her sentence.
"No! NO! Don't you dare hang up on me?
"I love you" I love you she whispered to him, as tears continued to fall down her face.
" "Bonnie. Don't you dare." She heard Jeremy's say to her, she knew that she had to do; she hangs up the phone leaving Jeremy upset. Trying to pull herself together she puts her phone back into her jacket pocket. Wiping away the tears from her face she stands up and starts to walk, still nearby to where the others were. She chose to watch them.
" "Bonnie! Bonnie! " She heard Jeremy scream her name over and over as he was running to the woods, she stood and watched. Whilst the rest of the group were trying to figure out what was going on, as they were all in the dark to about what was going to happen to her.
"What's going on?" Bonnie faintly heard Tyler say to the others.
"Bonnie! Bonnie! Bonnie!" She hears Jeremy screaming her name again she sees that he sees her as she stood across the graveyard where all the others were standing. Before anything of them could act, the other side's disintegration was coming to a head. She stood there as the wind was picking up on the other side.
"This place is going down, isn't it?" Bonnie heard Damon say to her as he approached and stood beside her. There were huge holes of light poking through to the other side, while the winds blow all around them.
"It is. I'm sure there are a million people we'd rather be with right now, but..." She said pausing at first speaking to Damon then stopping her sentence she looked down and took hold of Damon's hand as they entangled their fingers with each other's
"A couple thousand, at most." Damon replied joking to her as he looked facing her, she slightly laughed. As they both stood there watching as a huge orb of light rips through the tree tops.
"Do you think it'll hurt?" Bonnie asked him in a soft tone as the fabric of reality itself starts to shatter, leaving nothing but light
"I don't..." Damon says although he before he finishes his sentence the light engulfs them both….
