Confessions (Inspired by "Fearless" by Taylor Swift)

As we were walking to Blaine's car, I almost stopped to ask him to dance, only because we could still hear the music from the restaurant we were leaving, Breadstix.

As we were driving back to my house I was trying to stop myself from being mesmerized by his hand absentmindedly runnning his fingers through his overly gelled but dark and secretly curly locks. I honestly didn't know how it could get better.

He grabbed my hand as he concentrated on driving. We drove slow capturing the moment. I didn't know why but I could dance with him in the middle of a storm in a brand new Marc Jacobs collection and not even care.

He pulled up in my driveway and as I got out of the car and walked around to the front of it, my plams started to sweat and my heart started to race. Blaine could tell I was nervous so we once again interlocked fingers and he stared into my eyes and had a look that said, "We got this." I love how we just know what the other is thinking by the looks on their face. He started to walk towards the door, pulling me along as if he was fearless.

I knocked on the door and we waited for a response. My dad answered the door.

"Oh, hi Kurt, hey Blaine. Come on in, you guys." he said with a smile.

"Dad," I began nervously, "Blaine and I have something to tell you..." Apparentley this was the first time he noticed we were holding hands. He all of the sudden seemed uncomfortable.

"Oh, uh...go ahead." he said cautiously.

I nodded slightly. "Blaine and I are..." I took a shaky deep breath before I continued, "...dating." I looked over at Blaine who was grinning at me, and I smiled back.

"Oh well, Kurt, Blaine, that's great." he said while coming over to me. He gave me a side-hug, and the same for Blaine.

After dad let go of Blaine, he suggested that we head down to my room. I started to go, ready to take Blaine along with me, but he wouldn't budge. "I'll be right down. Ok?" I noodded, confused, and headed over to the basement stairs.

I stopped just at the top of the stairs so I could still hear them. "Mr. Hummel, I just wanted to make sure you knew that I will never or could ever hurt your son in any way, shape, or form. I love Kurt. He's amazing and I would do anything for him."

"Wait, did Blaine Anderson just admit to my dad that he loves me? This is not happening." I thought as I smiled brightly.

"Thank you," I heard my dad reply sincerely as I, as quietly as I could, raced down the stairs and began to search through my tall pile of classic movies. "Blaine Anderson loves me," I thought as I began to smile again. "And he'll never hurt me...he loves me."
