"Harry," Hermione began hesitantly, "you do know that we will support you no matter what, right Ron?" She turned her head towards Ron's gaping mouth where his giant forkful of mashed potatoes had ceased entering halfway. "Right, Ron?" she stressed with an elbow to his ribs. Ron merely dropped his mashed potatoes next to his forgotten dinner plate. He looked from Harry to the staff table back to Harry and then again to the staff table.

"Blimey, my eyes, mate," he finally said.

"Yes, er, I really had hoped that Dumbledore would've let us change before he sent us in here."

Hermione and Ron stared at Harry.

"That's a lot of glitter," Ron said.

"And skin," Hermione added almost wistfully before blushing under Ron's glare.

"You guys, uhm, er…" Harry trailed off and nervously scratched the back of his head.

"It was a potions accident right? You and Snape must've gotten caught in an explosion and it gave both you and Snape," he cut off to mimic 'boobs' with his hands over his chest, "and dressed you both in sparkling diamond bikinis and dusted glitter all over you. I'm right, right? It was a potions accident, right Harry? Tell me it was a potions accident."

Hermione noted a relieved spark in Harry's eyes as he nodded vigorously, too vigorously, to Ron's explanation. "It was definitely a potions accident," Harry answered and looked red-faced at his untouched plate of food. Satisfied with Harry's agreement, Ron suddenly leapt from the table (with his plate of food in hand) with the excuse that he had to finish his Transfiguration essay.

Hermione looked at Ron's retreating back and wiped her finger on Harry's bared shoulder. She frowned. "Harry, that's muggle glitter. That's my muggle glitter."

"I've never seen you use it before." The words slipped out of Harry's mouth before he could pull them back in.

"Is Professor Snape also wearing my muggle glitter?" Hermione asked dangerously.

Harry kept his head fixed on his dinner plate and missed the deadly glare that Hermione sent towards Snape at the Head Table.
