"Thinking"

Spoilers: I guess, but only if you missed the episode "Hello Goodbye"

Rating: PG, I guess, or G, lol

None of my charactors in this story, at least not yet.

Not sure if I'm going to extend it or not. Hope to get feedback, as to whether or not I should extend it or not. Thanks for reading.

Max left Logan with his mouth hanging open and his hand barely holding on to his drinking glass. He didn't believe it, well he thought there was something, but he seriously hoped it wasn't true. Maybe he just hoped that if she were with someone he would be another normal guy, not that he thought of himself as normal. But he figured that maybe he could scare him away or something, she would always come back, right? Alec, though, not that he scared him, but he couldn't really stop Alec. He couldn't expose him, that would cause trouble for other Manticore Escapees. There was totally nothing that we could do to stop it. She basically told him that with her eyes. She was really indecisive though, probably just not sure what to say. He dropped his glass on the floor, still in shock, and crawled into his bed to try to pretend that it wasn't real, that none of it was really real.

Max was crying as she left Logan's place, silent tears that fell involuntarily down her cheeks. Part of her understood why she had to say that to Logan, but that was just the brain part of her. Her heart said go back and tell him the truth, doesn't matter what happens as long as you two are together. But she had learned a while ago that trusting your heart wasn't usually the best option. Maybe she should have left with Zack when he offered the chance to her, then maybe none of this would have happened. No, it didn't matter what she did; bad things followed her around. The only things keeping her sane were her friends… and Logan. She just hoped that Alec wouldn't find out what she told Logan, she didn't know or want to know what the reaction would be. She walked into to her apartment and saw Original Cindy already crashed in her bed, probably she had spent the night at Crash, partying. That's where I should have been, Max thought as she crawled into bed and let the full bombard of tears come.

Alec was sitting on Joshua's couch. He was thinking, really truly thinking about his future, which was slightly unusual for him. The television was on, but only so Joshua wouldn't start asking Alec what he was doing. He sighed, a long deep, from the heart sigh. He wished things were normal, most of the time he thought being super boosted up was in his favor and an extremely good thing, but now that everything was going to Hell. Manticore creatures were getting killed; he was getting convicted of murders his insane twin did. What else could possibly go wrong? Now he was almost having feelings for Max. He was sorry she broke up with Logan, not that that wasn't what he had been wishing for, since he figured Logan was most of the time dead weight. The only really good thing about him was that the cared about Max and most of the time she needed that. Also he was good with computer, which helped since he wasn't really trained to be computer literate and Max seemed happy enough to let other people do the cyber work for her. But After last night, after she heard about Ben and what Max went through, he found out she had a lot of past she would probably rather forget, which was the same with him on a lot of things. Was he falling in love with Max? That couldn't be right. Well, he thought she was hot and everything, but could he actually love her? Wow! "What's up, Alec?" Joshua asked him the question when he realized that he wasn't really focused on the television. "Nothing, just thinking," was his response.
