Prompt: Whine
Sam's always been a whiner. Dean loves his brother, to death and beyond, but seriously. He wonders how he hadn't gone crazy. It got sorta better with time, morphing from "My cookie!" to "I'm going to college. I am."
When Dean says he's going to Hell, Sam whines. It's warranted, and yet: whining.
When Dean comes back, Sam's…different. He doesn't feel. Not really. He talks, but doesn't.
Once upon a time, Dean would've done anything to get Sam to shut up. Now that he knows Sam not whining means Sam not feeling anything…he just wants him to say something. Anything.
