She's standing up now, pacing the room, clenching her fists and her eyes are moving quickly from the door to the window and back, surely looking for the best possible exit in case she feels like she's losing control.
"What would be so terrible about spending eternity with me, Laura? You said… You said you love me, so what's the problem?"
She's facing to the window, giving her back to Laura; she feels a warm hand on her arm and it reminds her of the thing she always forgets, their main difference: She's a vampire and Laura is… well, alive.
"Carm, it's not like that. I do love you, I do. I just don't know if we, if this…"
She cuts her off mid sentence with a kiss, whispers I know right into Laura's lips and leaves.
