My Poem About Team Gibbs

They are all a family

And though screwed up at best

They care about each other

Far more than all the rest

Gibbs there is the father

Always telling them his rules

Building boats down in his basement

He's real handy with the tools

Tony's the big brother

And though he's a pest at times

He keeps all of them laughing

With his jokes, riddles, and rhymes

Ziva's not related

So she is their best friend

And if you want to know why

You must wait until the end

McGee's the other brother

He's curious and kind

Tony may be more handsome

But McGee he's got the mind

Abby is the sister

With her music blaring loud

Chugging all her Caf-Pow

She sure stands out in a crowd

Ducky is the grandpa

Always rambling his tales

He's got a funny accent

Because he grew up in Wales

Palmer is the cousin

He is goofy, but he's shy

Gibbs glares at him often

And he's always asking why

Now back to the problem

Into which I did not delve

It is called the Tiva dilemma

And it's caused by rule number 12

Everyone can see it

You just have to ask around

Even Gibbs can see the love

Between the Ninja and the Clown

Though they are all different

And a crazy group they make

They are all a family

And those are bonds you cannot break

I dedicate this poem

To those that they have lost

Who protected us and their country

Ignoring any cost

To Kaitlin and to Jenny

Shannon, Kelly, and the others

Who watch all of those they left behind

Friends, Parents, Husbands, Sisters and Brothers
