Summary: A poem from Kagome's point of view, concerning one corner of her love triangle.
Author's Note: I wrote this on a whim about a month or two ago, for the Kikyo Haters LiveJournal community. I'm not sure what inspired it (besides just watching stupid Kikyo trying to kill Kagome and drag InuYasha down to hell... and isn't that enough? Oy.), but it was one of those things you write at three am. So please don't think too harshly of it, and do review.

Many many years ago

('bout fifty, to be precise)

There lived a hanyou and his ho

Whose lives were pretty nice

At least until this Naraku dude

got jealous and attacked

He made each lover kill the other

In some twisted suicide pact

The hanyou's bitch was a perfect shot

(She sealed him to a tree)

She died, then fifty years went by

And then, along came- me.

I unsealed that Dog-Boy from his tree

(Any gratitude? Not a bit)

And things were fine between us two

With prayer beads and a 'sit!'

Or at least they were until the day

(This was totally unexpected)

Turns out Kikyo and I share a soul-

The bitch got resurrected.

So now that Dog-Boy plays us both

(How typically male)

I watch and wait and pray for him

She tries to drag him to hell.

You'd think that would clue even him in

(This one's dumber than most)

But his 'word's his bond', he'll go to hell

Following her ghost.

I've put up with this for a long time now

I've been patient, I've been kind

But everyone has their breaking point

And I'm sick of her playing our minds

Blame it on 'protective instinct'

or 'jealousy' -I don't care.

But I'm gonna shoot the bitch through the head:

Kikyo better beware.
