Notes: Third part of my photo inspired series. (I guess I can call it that, haha.) Last thing, there was over 70 hits on 'Fighting' and over 300 hits on 'Twins'. One review. rhmac12, I dedicate this to you because you're awesome and you reviewed. :) - Maya
Cold wind. Harsh smoke.
Closing my eyes as I inhale just one last hit, I think to myself of all the commotion I would cause if my mother found out. She would think she screwed up somehow, somewhere. She would then, of course go straight to my father for counsel. Unbeknownst to her, he would then go to Bill or Charlie and ask them to handle the situation. My father believed that they would get through more effectively than he ever could.
Their method, in theory was effective. If the problem dealt with any of my brothers they would just smack them around a bit, have a little row. They've never had to deal with a problem with me for the sole fact that, unlike the rest of my family, I knew how to cover my tacks.
Walking out to the edge of the property, at the crack of dawn, with a change of clothes for one cigarette may seem like a bit much. Maybe it is. I know that I'll never get caught, though. I used to be worried about my mother finding out, but now that I think about it I could care less. I'm of age now. And right now I need this cigarette. It's not as claming as Charlie had made them out to be, and they taste much worse than Bill lets on.
But they get the job done when the man I love is out Merlin knows where, along with my best friend and my older brother, doing who knows what; When the one place I considered safe is now overridden with evil; When my whole entire world is hanging by a thread, I've finally found something that soothes me. Yes, I do believe they get the job done.
