Disclaimer: I don't own Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Satsu knew she shouldn't have loaned Buffy that chapstick.
She'd had a feeling in her gut, telling her not to, that it was a bad idea, that she shouldn't do it, that it was going to come back and bite her in the ass someday. But she payed it no mind. After all, it was only chapstick.
When she kissed Buffy, she wasn't thinking about it. She was too preoccupied with getting Buffy awake to worry about what was on her mouth. She only realized her mistake when Buffy shouted as she woke, but when she wasn't identified as the perpetrator of the kiss, she relaxed. Just because she wore cinnamon chapstick didn't make her immediately guilty. There were a lot of people in the room at the time, and surely she wasn't the only one partial to it.
But now, covered in mud and having just been booted into the waiting arms of a vamp by the girl of her dreams, Satsu had just one thought.
God damn that cinnamon chapstick.
