Summary: The Prince tries to think of a gift to give Cinderella for their wedding anniversary.

The Prince was in his private quarters and was pacing back and forth. In just three days time it would be the year anniversary of the wedding between him and his darling Cinderella. They had the perfect fairy tale romance. She was a mysterious stranger who came to his ball and danced the night with him.

It was during that night that he fell in love with her. She was so sweet and so kind and she was beautiful. She was everything that he was looking for in a woman. When it was midnight, she mysteriously disappeared and he thought he had lost her forever. The only clue he had was the glass slipper. He searched throughout the entire kingdom and thought all hope was lost until he came upon Cinderella's house.

When Cinderella's step mother broke the slipper he gasped in horror. He again thought hope was lost. But as soon as Cinderella pulled out the other shoe, he ran up to her and spun her around and gave her a kiss. The kiss of true love.

What do you get the woman that has almost everything that her heart desires? The Prince thought to himself. Flowers? Chocolates? A love song or poem? This was a big deal and he wanted Cinderella to know how much he appreciated her and loved her.

The Duke came in and smiled at the Prince. "Have you made a choice yet?" he asked.

"No not yet," The Prince frowned.

"Time is passing, you must make a choice soon!" exclaimed the Duke.

"What would you get the woman who you love and who has everything their heart wants?"

"Something from the heart, something that says I love you."

The Prince scratched his head and said, "I'm going for a walk. Perhaps when I am out and about I will think of something."

The Duke bowed and the Prince walked around the castle. He smiled as he came upon a painting of him dancing with his beloved Cinderella. She was wearing the silver/blue dress that she had worn. His eyes travelled down the painting and he saw her shoes. He reflected back to when he went to find her. The slipper. Suddenly, the Prince had an idea!

It was the day of the Prince's and Cinderella's anniversary. There were roses and ribbons all over the entire castle. Later that night there was to be a ball in honor of the anniversary. The Prince was walking all over the castle and he was trying to find her. He had a box with him and inside was his gift. He asked all of the servants, "Have you seen the Princess?"

They all shook their heads.

Suddenly, the Prince turned and he saw Cinderella. "Ella!" he called to her.

"Charming!"

Cinderella was holding a box and she smiled and ran over to him. She placed her box down and threw her arms around him. "Happy Anniversary," they said at the same time.

Cinderella gave the Prince a sweet kiss and she hugged him. "I have a gift for you!" the Prince smiled as he handed Cinderella the box.

"Oh so do I," as she handed him his box.

They opened the boxes at the same time and what happened next was a total surprise and a total shock. "Oh my goodness!" exclaimed Cinderella.

The Prince gasped.

They got each other the same gift. They each had a glass slipper. "I thought that you would want a matching shoe with your other one," the Prince admitted.

"And I thought you would want to have a piece of what brought us together. Something to treasure forever."

"Oh Cindy," he kissed his wife, "I love you and I treasure you forever."

"I love you too Charming!"
