Sam laid back in the deck chair and sighed contentedly. It had been years since he'd just laid out in the sun and just relaxed. Dean, however, saw an open motel pool and turned into an adolescent.

"Cannonball!" Dean shouted as he jumped from the diving board. He created a giant splash as he hit the water, dousing his brother.

"You're a jerk," Sam said as he dried himself.

"May I ask a question?"

Sam turned his head, to see Castiel sitting upright in a chair. Instead of his usual suit and trench coat, he was wearing a swimsuit, and had a large pair of goggles perched on the top of his head.

"Cas, what are you wearing?"

"Dean said this is the preferred dress for 'taking a dip in the pool.' "

Sam rolled his eyes as Dean strutted onto the diving board for another jump.

"Why does Dean take pleasure in jumping from that slab into the water?"

"It's called a diving board, Cas. It's for fun."

Dean jumped in again, soaking Sam and Castiel.

"Was it fun to throw water on us?"

"When Dean finds a motel with an open pool, he takes pleasure in getting me wet because I won't swim with him."

Castiel regarded that statement for a moment, and snapped his fingers. Seconds later, Sam heard a familiar shriek coming from the pool. He looked up from his book and broke into a grin. Dean's swim trunks were lying on the pool deck, and Dean was hiding under the water.

"Now he cannot splash you," Castiel said with a grin.
