Hufflepuff and Slytherin
A/N: This is just a short oneshot I wrote about Helga and Salazar being in a relationship and what it would be like. So enjoy and review! :)
Helga rubbed her bare arms, trying to warm them after standing outside in the wind for so long. She had come outside after Godric, Rowena and Salazar had started fighting again. Their plans of building a boarding school for witches and wizards together was going along well, until they started deciding the values of the school and who should be let in. Salazar only wanted pure blood students in the school; Godric only wanted brave students and; Rowena only wanted the smartest students into the school. No one was listening to Helga and she was tired of trying to yell over the top of her friends.
Someone walks up behind her and she instantly knows who it is without turning around.
"Hey." Salazar says, placing his jacket around Helga's cold shoulders.
"Hey." She says, leaning back into his chest as he wraps his arms around her.
"I'm sorry about all the fighting." His whispers, shame coloured his face.
"It's not just your fault." She says putting her hands on top of his. He sighs, resting his head on her shoulder.
"I'm still sorry."
"We all just need to calm down and work together, as a team." She replies.
"You have no idea how much I love you." He says pulling her closer in his arms.
"I love you too Salazar." She says, turning around in his arms and placing a light kiss on his lips.
"Why? I don't understand why you love me?" He says, not looking at her. She chuckles at him and brings her hand up to his cheek, running her hand over the stubble on his face.
"I love you because I know your heart. You try and look all harsh and mean, but inside your heart you are beautiful and kind. You show your true colours when you are with Godric, Rowena and me. We know who you really are and we love you. I love you." She smiles at him, as he looks down at her with his bright green eyes.
"You are an extraordinary woman Helga Hufflepuff. And I could never love anyone more than I love you right now." He leans down and captures her lips in a tender kiss. She puts her arms around his neck and he pulls her closer to him, so that they are as close as possible. He runs one of his hands through her long brown curls and uses the other too keep her steady against him. She deepens the kiss and he moans against her mouth.
A light cough comes from somewhere behind them and Salazar pulls back from Helga to glare at his best friend.
"Sorry to interrupt the make out session guys, but the Chinese food is here." Godric grins at his two best friends while Rowena smiles sweetly. Helga gives both Godric and Rowena a death glare, Godric just smirks in reply and Rowena grins. Salazar blushes slightly and rubs the back of his neck.
"Well are you coming?" Rowena asks the couple who were still wrapped up in each other's arms.
"That's what she said." Godric bursts into hysterical laughter, followed by Salazar, whereas Rowena and Helga groan and walk back into the house.
"Guys are idiots." Rowena says to Helga; as she sits down to eat dinner.
"That is the truth." Helga says helping herself to some food.
