My eyebrows raise slightly as I see what Zip's definition of 'hard work' is. So... playing video games is hard work but nearly getting killed to find out who my family is isn't hard to do?
I roar the word "Die!", and he shrieks in fear. I chuckle as he turns and sees that it was only me, and I stand up normally. He glares at me and sighs.
"What sort of work is that?" I ask him, annoyed at his lack of discovery to the location of the next fragment to the key.
"My... my... fine, you got me, I was messing around." Zip admits, looking guilty.
I sigh, and ask if he has actually done the research. His reply isn't what I want to hear.
He found it... in a abandoned city hall, in Spain.
I don't see how this could go horribly at all. I tell Zip to sort out the jet, and go to tell Alister the news. I enter the library and see him at his desk.
"Oh, hello, Lady Croft, what may I possibly do for you?" Alister says, standing up as soon as he notices me.
"I'm off to Spain, but one problem. I'll be in a abandoned city hall. You know what'll happen, you know what happened with Anaya when we were in the abandoned town." I tell him.
"Jesus, Lara, if that happens again you may be in more trouble than last time. Your earpiece is slightly broken, Zip hasn't finished fiddling with it, and if we see something you don't … there might be no Lara left." He tells me.
This is making me feel safer isn't it? I just say I wanted to tell him this, and I leave the room. I trot into my bedroom to get ready. I take of my trainers, jogging bottoms and t-shirt, and then I see Winston's face appear. I raise my eyebrows.
"Can't a lady have a little privacy around here?" I ask.
He doesn't answer, but just watches me, I grab my ivory shorts and cream coloured top. I then proceed to put on these clothes and pull on my brown leather boots. He watches me while I do this, I really need to sack him for being such a pervert, but he's my father's friend, and that would be disrespectful to my family's traditions, he also makes really nice sandwiches. I leave my bedroom and head downstairs, and smile.
Zip has laid out my equipment and he warned me about the faulty earpiece. I feel my smile becoming smug, him and Alister are so much alike. I exchange my goodbyes, and turn to leave.
