Authors note: Another Sirius fic. Its what happens after Sirius fell behind
the veil. Hope you like it. ^_^*
'It's so cold.' Sirius thought to himself. 'I can't move.' He opened his eyes to find no difference from when he had them closed. There was total darkness. He felt air brush against his face, and could feel his body again. He lifted his head to see if anything looked different, but it was still dark. Then he felt his body jerk foreword and a flash of light filled his view as he found himself being pulled through his memories.
He was pulled to a stop and found himself at his worst memory, being blamed for James and Lily Potter's deaths. Sirius was confused about what was going on. Then his vision faded out as the bars closed behind him in Azkaban. He felt his body move through his memories once more now stopping at his happiest memory, knowing Harry and Remus still love him. He sat there at that memory for a while; Sirius was then pulled into a room where everything was white.
He looked around finally being able to look at himself, his robes were brand new, and he was all cleaned up. Then he turned around when he the sound of foot steps to see a familiar face. "Prongs?" he finally was able to say.
James stepped into view. "Hello Paddy," he said in a calm voice. "this is where you have to make a decision mate, a decision that could seal your fate from this world."
"What are you talking about James?"
"Listen to me Sirius, there are two paths you must choose from quickly, or it will be stripped from the freedom of that choice, ok?"
Sirius nodded slowly. "Ok."
"Ok, Path number one, to go straight to heaven and hopefully be reborn in a hundred years or so. Then there is path number 2, live your life as a ghost on earth for the rest of your life. Yes, you will be able to see everyone one you love again, but you won't be able to touch them, and worse is that you'll have to watch them pass on as well. Then you will be there till the end of time." James said finally said. "Do you understand Paddy?"
Sirius nodded solemnly. "Yes."
"Ok," his friend said. "You know which on to pick, have no doubts and the path will lead you to where you want to go. Happy trails Padfoot."
"Thanks Prongs, I will." Sirius said as he walked down a dark tunnel. He was hit with a large burst of energy and everything went dark. A few minutes later, he woke up, exactly where he wanted to.
