Something quick to get over the fact that my winter break is short :'(
Gilbert is crying. Gilbert was crying. Because his special person doesn't need him. No matter how much he needs him to feel needed, its not the same. Because Gilbert loves him too much to know…
Gilbert was crying.
He didn't stop his own tears though. They just stopped automatically. Because there were arms around him in such a comforting way. There, he highly doubts that it was real. Because of the person who was comforting him. The person who seemed incapable of 'comforting' or 'understanding'. The person who says that he had no idea what its like to feel needed.
He looks up because he doesn't want to lay on his shoulder, fearing that he'll just break down in the gentle arms. The red eye that shows nothing at all: no emotions, no feelings, no remorse or weakness. It's not even staring at him and he could tell.
It was sad. He was sad. Break Xerxes was sad. Break was sad?
Then he smirks, sensing Gilbert looking at him.
"What are you looking at?" He snaps at him; he's not angry.
Gilbert doesn't know what to say. So he continues to stare. Then Break smiles and Gilbert sees it for the first time. But its gone in a flash.
Because he's buried against him. Break is buried against him.
His throat burns to say words; anything is possible. But Gilbert doesn't speak, he lets him. He lets the arms tighten some more. He lets his heart ache for completion; he aches for his special person. And he could feel him smiling, smirking, against his neck.
"Such a weak-willed person," He teases
Gilbert growls back.
"Why do you need him so much?"
It doesn't sound like a question, even though it is. Gilbert sighs, because he knows he needs him. Though, in this moment alone, Gilbert takes notice.
Does Break want to feel needed too?
Maybe because of those feelings to be needed, he lets them stay like this for a moment. Maybe because of those feelings of happiness when needed, he lets them stay like this. Because they were so similar that he never knew…
Break could break.
