ALMOST DEATH
-This is a drabble!
She could feel it. Death. In just one second, all that she had worked for could have been for nothing. Just one stupid feud and her life could crumble. In one measly second, one knife could end it all. So when she saw him flinch, and heard him shout, she felt herself die a little. With speed she didn't know she possessed, she ran to him and cradled his head. He was alive. Barely. She felt herself start to breathe when she discovered that his skim was not damage and not a droplet of gruesome blood in sight. It was the last word said from the antagonist that made everything a reality. This. Everything had really happened. Just moments ago, life had flashed before her very eyes. And in that one second, all could have been lost.
