"MOMMY!!! DADDY!!!" screamed a little light blue hedgehog. Bright red and orange images flashed before her eyes. She searched frantically for her parents but nobody was there to be found. "MOOOOMY!!!!! DAAAADDY!!!!" she screeched as she ran through the burning house. Flames surrounded her and the smoke was choking her. The smoke tightened it's grip on her lungs. Ever so slowly was she losing consciousness. She squeezed her eyes shut and drifted into her soon to be everlasting dreams. As she slowly opened her eyes, she found herself in a large bedroom, small toys littered the floor a mirror sat on a dresser next to the closet and there were paintings of a young woman with ocean blue hair holding a baby with one blue eye and one red eye and next to them were a tall gray figure with 6 hand and a red eye on each of them. The little hedgehog stared at the painting something about the tall gray figure sent shivers down her back. The door creaked open and the very same woman from the painting walked in. She looked young and very pretty and her eyes were very mesmerizing. "Aha! I see you've finally awakened my child.........," The woman said, "You gave me quite a fright, are you well?" The child nodded, still nervous. "W-who are you...? Where am I?" the child asked, "Is this real....? am I.....still alive?" "My name is Queen Triffinity. You're not the world you once knew. Sadly...you didn't survive the fire, though you are still alive." "H-how can that be.....?" she felt sad and frightened. She stared down at the floor bewilder but noticed something. Her hands......they were no longer attached to her. Neither was her neck. She stared at Triff fearfully. "Allow me to explain.......I rescued your spirit and changed you into a hedgemaren," Queen Triff told her sternly. The child stared at her for what seemed like ages. Tears soon stung her eyes, she would never see her family again. Queen Triff hugged the crying child and whispered to her, "You're home now.......I will never leave you.......from now on you shall be called.....Mittens......"
