By Candle Light18:26
Screams echo form the recesses of the darkness of the dungeon chamber. A single candle is a light, its flame flickering over the two figures in the chamber. Distorting the figures and their features. The flame dances passionately in time with the sounds of a whip cracking over clothes and flesh. Screaming. Wailing.
Suddenly the whip is stopped and a voice speaks through full, dried, bloody, feminine lips. "More."
The candle becomes minuscule as the torture and screams reaches it climatic crescendo.
Shackles are unlocked releasing small, delicate, pale hands. The freed figures slump then collapses into the strong wiry arms.
Holding the fallen figure endearingly.
The strong armed figure speaks. "The Lord would be please to see me fulfill my duty to Him."
He rises dropping the weak dying woman.
Reaching for his ebony wand hidden inside his robes. A glimpses of white undershirt are shown during his movements.
Wand pointed at the woman.
Surprisingly the woman speaks "I love you Severus, I will see beyond the veil." Dark emerald light flashes inside the chamber, showing the scars and stains of unspeakable pasts on the walls.
The candle is all most blown out by the force of the light and power released into the chamber.
Severus walks toward the dead woman screeching calmly for her wand; upon finding the magical object he gently sets the wand in her cooling cracked hand.
He looks upon her face, her long brown hair still in its trademark curly mass.
The touch of his hand feather light on her cheek.
He raises his wan towards himself.
The candle on its last seconds of life.
"I love you, Hermione, we will forever be together not even this war could have stopped us."
The emerald light appears his body collapsing to the ground.
The candle is blown out.
Darkness.
Lovers forever to walk beyond the veil in peace and serenity.
