The Challenge: Write a drabble or short fic relating to each episode after you view it during Chuck Me Mondays. Post them as chapters in a collection on a weekly basis.

The Acceptance: I think I'll be able to do this. If someone else is doing Skip Johnson, then I'll take this one out.

A shout to Verkisto, who's challenge has sparked a lot of muses. And to Wep, who's Anna idea sparked mine.

Skip Johnson vs the Intersect

Skip was a happy camper.

He got a job at the Nerd Herd at the Buy More. It would help pay for his tuition at the ITT Technical Institute.
Today, he's getting his uniform and meeting his supervisor, Chuck Bartowski. He hopes that he's a better person than the other supervisor, Tang.

Tang, like the beverage. Seems real mean.

Skip really hopes that this job's not too demanding. He needs all his free time to study for his degree.

When he first applied for the job, the Buy more Manager, Michael ...what was his last name? Tucker? He can't remember. But everyone called him Big Mike. And that he was, "Big".

Still, it's a decent pay and he get's to have hands-on experience with computers.

Hope it's not too boring as my last job. Customer service at Underpants, Inc was a horrible job.

Skip is a somewhat happy camper.

His supervisor seems like a nice guy. He gave him a quick tour of the facilities and whatnot. He assigned Skip his first task, which was to fix some old orders at the repair center of the Buy More, or as Mr. Bartowski called it, "The Cage".

It actually feels like a cage.

But work is work. He hopes his lunch break is soon.

Skip is a ... camper.

Not a bad day's work, but definetively not a great first day of work. His Nerd Herd coworkers are all demented. The sales reps or "green shirts" are all like scared sheep under Tang. Thank god he got into the Nerd Herd. Or at least for now. The only girl on his section is Anna, he think. She's really good.

Smart. Pretty. Scary.

Lestor or Lester; he doesn't really remember, is weird. Kept oogling at all the female customers and showing off. Jeff is, well, dowright creepy. He kept ogling Anna, but his eyes were a mixture of lust and crazy. That guy really creeps Skip out.

Mr Bartowski's a good guy. He didn't see, but his coworkers told him how he recorded a ballerina recital for a father who didn't know that digital video cameras required digital tape. Go figure. Still, it's too early to tell.

He hopes tomorrow's a better day.
