Glamour
glamour is the wizarding world's version of makeup. Whereas in the muggle world muggles use it to make themselves look younger in the wizarding worlds wizards use it to look older. It is a simple principle being older grants more respect. Glamour charms are really useful in the teaching profession. Where a younger teacher struggles to keep a classroom in order an older sterner looking teaching would make the classroom silent in seconds.
closing the book harry turned to his best friend 'do you think any of our teachers use glamour charms'
'undoubtly' Hermione replied while looking over her finished charms essay 'in classes like McGonagall's its nothing but work but in classes like Sinatra's the whole class is messing about

okay 4th years your careers advice is going to be spread out through next potter yours is after lunch tomorrow' harry looked at the mention of his name into the emotionless face of Minerva McGonagall. Nodding his acceptance he resumed his resumed his conversation with Hermione on their careers 'so mione what do you want to do'
'I want to do something productive maybe take spew a bit further'
'I think that is a good goal but I think you stop with the idea of releasing house elves'
'why, house elf's everywhere are being mistreated by their supposed owner'
'exactly, if they are being treated so badly they can leave but the point I was about to say was house elf's need their masters magic to survive. I do not think you should shut down spew I just change the goals of spew into making house elf's lives much better'
harry unlike the twat Ron thought spew was a good idea but Ron wasn't talking to him ever since his name came out of the goblet of fire and refused to believe harry had not put his name in the goblet. This suited harry just fine as it gave harry time to think about all the times Ron betrayed harry because of jealousy.
(Outside McGonagall's office)
harry was slumped against the wall outside McGonagall's office normally he would eat inside the great hall but ever since Halloween whenever harry entered the hall people would be staring and pointing at him. Then harry heard a soft moan coming out of the office harry stood up and looked inside.
