Thick rain clouds were hanging in the sky over the black asphalt of the World that Never was.
The heart shaped moon shone bright, showing the silhouette of a man in a black coat standing on top of the skyscraper of memories.
His flaming red hair was moving slightly in the wind and emerald eyes casted their empty gazes at the horizon.
He had lost everything.
Not only that he was a Nobody.
A non-existent creature.
Neither alive nor dead.
With no heart.
No true feelings.
With just memories of the emotions they once had.
No.
He could've lived with that.
But there'd be no way he could deal with being alone.
He was scared of loneliness.
He always had been.
And now, he was.
Roxas had left.
Left to find his true self.
The redhead always knew that day would come as long as Sora was alive.
He had tried to stop his friend.
To bring him back.
But it was useless.
After Roxas found his Somebody, there was only one person he could talk to.
Could've told all of his problems and feelings.
Who would've listened quietly without any contradiction.
But now it was too late.
Why did Xemnas have to send him there?
He knew he wasn't a good fighter.
Why did he have to face Sora?
Why?
With giving the order their superior had sealed his fate.
He will never hear his happy laugh again.
Will never see that sheepish grin again.
Will never taste those sweet lips again.
Out of all members he was the one who was the closest to gain his heart back.
The redhead felt so complete when he had been near.
Almost… like he had a heart again.
But now there was nothing but cold.
Cold, bitter darkness.
He felt empty.
Emptier than he'd ever felt before.
His reason to live had been ripped apart.
And so his will to live had.
There was nothing that held him in this cursed place any longer.
Nothing.
His head turned slightly to the heart shaped form at the sky.
Even if he would find his heart, Kingdom Hearts would never be able to give him what he desired.
Slowly he closed his eyes, bend himself backwards until he fell.
As soon as his feet left the ground, the rain started pouring over the dark city, covered it into a veil of water.
A small, final smile crossed the redheads face.
"Are you crying… Demyx?"
