My eyes watched as he swam back and forth, to and fro. What was so special about him? We were of the same height and build; similar in colouring as well. He was only five point two months older than I. My mind was far more brilliant than his could ever hope to be; jealousy perhaps. I still beat him in laps by three point fourteen seconds.

There was no reason for him to torment me the way he does; choosing me of all the others, me. I rolled my neck and took a deep breath through my nose. I felt a hand trail up my bare back, resting where neck and shoulder meet. A body pressed closer, warmth spreading to me as hot breath lingered over my ear.

I turned to look at my intruder; I'd always let him in. He'd always be the only one I would. Slight movement from below caught my attention—the water now in rough ripples centering over one person. Limbs flailing, as if trying to gain control in a fit of panic, only to cease in a matter of moments, the ripples appearing as faint echoes as they stretched out towards the edges; the crowd of parents and onlookers gathered around the pool's edge as he was lifted from the water, his body far too still.

Through the yelling, the crying, the shocked expressions, the panic of attempting to revive the boy, I smiled. The fingers on my neck moved upwards, gently raking through my still damp hair, and the warm breath ghosting over my ear finally spoke—"I told you I would take care of it."

So yes, I erm, attempted again. This kind of came to me whilst messaging Pikeru's Angel, so I should thank you! :)

If I should stick to strictly Sherlok/John feel free to tell me to do so. XD
