Anyway Shadowdust (me) got the idea when we were in the cinema waiting for 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging' to come on! They showed this ad and I was like "We're writing a story based on this!"
So the next day Mimzie went and wrote it and, well, here it is!
I glanced down at my watch again; the time was unchanged since the last time I had checked. Would this bus ever come? Boredom was slowly engulfing me. This was the last time I was using Muggle transport, no matter how convenient.
I glimpsed at the other two people waiting for the bus. One of them was a squat old lady. She had her umbrella at the ready for any threatening rain and a handbag that was bulging strangely. As I looked closer I was pretty sure that it was moving.
The other was sitting on the other side of my bench. His bottomless sapphire blue eyes met mine. I quickly looked away, embarrassed at being caught looking, but not before noticing the striking way his hair flopped into his eyes and his gorgeous smile.
"Do do do do…" I glanced over at the guy who was had spontaneously singing the Nokia theme tune (quite badly). He was checking his pockets as if searching for his phone. He had recalled my attention but I was only throwing him confused glimpses. "Do do do do…" he continued as he turned his attention to his rucksack on the bench beside him. He extracted a bottle of coke. With a fleeting look at me he put the coke to his ear.
"Hello?" he said in a deliciously deep voice; did I detect a hint of an Irish accent?.
I stared at him. It was confirmed, the guy was completely insane. But then he did something I didn't expect.
"It's for you" he smiled handing me the bottle.
I fought the urge to laugh but it ended up sounding like a girlish giggle. Encouraged by this he sidled closer.
"Seamus Finnegan" he greeted warmly.
"Lavender Brown" I replied with a smile.
As Seamus started to give me a more in-depth introduction I took a sip of my Coke. Maybe Muggle transport didn't totally suck.
